Terms and Conditions
In making a Reservation with us you accept our Terms and Conditions. They are meant to provide clarification to both parties obligations.
To make a booking you will need your credit or debit card and mobile phone.
Your card will be debited for the full amount of your stay at the time of booking.
Should the card payment not be authorised the booking is deemed immediately cancelled.
We will try to contact you to tell you but we might not be able and are not obliged to tell you. You may wish to confirm payment before arrival. We do not accept cash payment.
2. Room Prices
Room prices are per room per night with a maximum occupancy as stated per room.
We reserve the right to change the room prices from time to time. In the unlikely event that of us needing to change the room price on the day of arrival you may cancel your reservation without charge.
3. Cancellation Charges.
If the booking is cancelled less than 2 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
If the booking is cancelled 2 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made.
If you wish to cancel your booking you need to email or call and tell us before 1pm 2 days before your arrival day. A cancellation reference will be given and must be retained as proof of cancellation.
If you cancel after 1pm 2 days before we will charge you for one night’s accommodation per room.
If you want to shorten your stay we need you to tell us by 1pm 2 days before or we will charge you for one night’s accommodation per room.
We retain the right to cancel your booking up to 1pm the day before your arrival day with out penalty. If we need to cancel your Reservation after that time we limit our compensation to the value of one night of our accommodation.
For reservations of two or more rooms that include a Saturday night, Christmas, Easter, Bank Holidays or where you are specifically told either verbally, by text or by email, bookings can be cancelled or amended up to 14 days before arrival at which time the full amount becomes chargeable to the card used for the reservation and is non-refundable, this means that for these situations if you make your reservation within 14 days of your arrival, payment will be taken at the time of booking and be non-refundable.
4. Arrival and Departure
Rooms are available from 4pm on the day of arrival, sometimes earlier by arrangement. Arrivals after 9pm need to be pre-arranged in advanced or will be considered ‘no-show’ & cancellation charges apply.
Your room must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure, week days, 10.30 am weekends.
Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charges £20 per hour or part of an hour and may exceed the cost of one night’s accommodation.
5. Particular Requirements
In according with no-smoking legislation Prince Hill House is a no smoking premises. We do not have any rooms adapted for people with disabilities, however, The Carriage House is wheelchair friendly.
Breakfast is served between 8:00am and 9:30am. Earlier breakfasts can be accommodated with prior notice. Please note our cereals may contain Gluten & Nuts.
7. Please note.
We ask that, if upon arrival you are not happy with your accommodation that you call and make this known within 30 minutes and that the room should be ‘untouched’.
The accommodation is offered on the understanding that it is for quiet enjoyment. This is a quiet residential neighbourhood and we are keen that you respect our neighbours by being particularly quiet after 10pm and do not stray into the private areas of the house or grounds. In the event of noisy or anti-social behaviour we reserve the right to forfeit your right to stay and ask you to leave. The accommodation is for the use of residents only. Residents are not allowed to bring guests onto the property. We do not accept bookings for, Wedding, Hen or Stag Parties.
The descriptions given on this website are for illustration only. Not all the services and amenities are guaranteed to be present and working.
Should we make an administrative mistake or a room becomes unavailable or unusable for whatever reason we will attempt to contact you as soon as we can. We will arrange for you to occupy a different room of similar quality. If this is not acceptable we will of course refund your money and offer our sincere apology but we will not compensate you for your inconvenience or be liable for any consequential loss.
We take loss of property, damage and fouling of the accommodation very seriously. We always charge for the loss, repair or extra cleaning.
Please call us immediately if you find something missing or broken.
Reservations for rooms are non-transferable and must not be sold or transferred to a third party.
The rooms are no smoking and we do not allow the use of naked flames e.g. no candles, aroma therapy burners etc.
We regret that no pets are allowed.
Guests are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings and we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage thereof.
Under no circumstances may any room key be removed from the property. Keys may be left with reception. Any keys lost will incur a charge £50.
